Dutch Apple Pie

  • For the Pie:
  • Pie Shell
  • 6 Tart Apples (peeled and cut into 8ths)
  • 2 TBS Flour
  • ⅔ Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Tsp. Cinnamon
  • 2 TBS. Butter
  • Crumb Topping
  • ½ Cup Butter
  • ½ C Brown Sugar
  • 1 Cup Sifted Flour
  1. Line pie pan with a pie shell. Coat apples in 2 TBS flour. Arrange apples in the pie pan. Mix sugar and cinnamon and pour over apples. Dot top of the pie with butter and cover with crumb topping.
  2. For the Topping: Cream butter and sugar. Cut in the flour. Mixture will be crumbly.
  3. Bake Pie at 450 for 10 minutes
  4. Reduce heat and continue baking at 350 for 30 minutes.
