Our gigantic home remodel project is nearing an end so now the real fun can start…decorating! It’s funny to design a home from start to finish. As I worked with contractors, I had to envision each room as a completed room. What it’s function would be, where furniture pieces would go etc. That helped me to design each room to work as perfectly for our family as possible. (I talked more about it in this post on remodeling your floorplan.) Well, now the walls are up and cabinets are in and it’s time to concentrate on the kitchen remodel and making it look pretty! 🙂 Needless to say, at the end of the project budget becomes even more of a concern, so I am looking for beautiful table and chair combinations on a budget for our new nook. I want to create the look of something high-end, without paying a fortune. Here are some of my favorite inspiration images and affiliate links to similar products so you can get the look too. 🙂
Eames Style dining chairs are versatile, inexpensive and come in tons of great colors. I love them when paired with a rustic wood table or a modern pedestal table. You can’t go wrong with these table and chair combinations in your space.

I have used these metal chairs in several homes and I still love this look. They too are inexpensive, colorful and are such a great contrast to just about any dining table. You can mix and match colors, or work with a different unexpected metal like these pretty copper versions. Mixed with the traditional black table you get a super elegant look with a little funk (and on a budget!). Love it! You can find a light similar to this pendant at Ikea right now too, which is AWESOME!

I love these distressed blue metal chairs that we used in the Avendale kitchen remodel.
I have been in love with these wishbone chairs forever and I think they are going to be the winners for the dining room. They are just classic. The lines are interesting and beautiful and they work with just about any table. I am leaning toward the white ones, but I love the black with the natural woven seats too.

It’s amazing what a difference just changing up a few pieces can do. It’s like a complete kitchen remodel when you buy a few new chairs! All of these options look great with all shapes of tables and most styles. With a nook that doesn’t break the bank you can have a little fun mixing colors and textures and if you tire of it later (which you probably won’t) you don’t have to feel too guilty changing things up. All of these chairs work great as individuals too in other spaces at desks and in kids rooms etc., so you can find a use for them anywhere.
I can’t wait to show you the table and chair combination that wins for our new kitchen remodel! Stay tuned! 🙂
Have a great day!
