The Moody Blues… a Blue Mantel Re-do with Chinese Urns

Lately, I’ve been seeing all of these gorgeous blue Chinese urns all over in fabulous room designs.  I have been dying to get my hands on one, and last week, I had narrowed it down to three.  I loved the shape of these, the size of this one, and just the overall look of this one.   What to do?!  I’ll tell you what to do…go to HomeGoods!!  Seriously, when am I going to learn my lesson and just trust my gut and wait. Without fail, it seems like when I want something specific…if I’m just patient, I will find it at my local HomeGoods.  I ran in to grab something else, and what was staring me in the face?  A whole shelf of these gorgeous urns!  The prices were killer, and since I couldn’t decide on one, I brought home my three favorites.  😉  Collections are always so striking and these Chinese urns all paired together on the mantel have just been making me happy all week. 🙂 What do you think?

I think they look pretty great grouped on the kitchen table and/or island too…

Check your local HomeGoods if you’re in the market for an urn! 🙂

    • Hi Ali! The color I used is Montpielier Ashlar Grey from Lowes. I believe it was a Valspar brand. It’s a great Taupey grey. I hope that helps! Have fun painting! Tammy

    • Hi Ashlee! Thank you so much for your comment…finding the perfect piece is so hard! I wish I could be more helpful with the barstools, but unfortunately I can’t even remember where I bought them! It was from a little local mom and pop shop over 10 years ago. I’m so sorry! Good luck with your hunt! Tammy
