Summertime in Phoenix anyone? If you’ve been watching the news this week, I’m sure you’ve seen the record setting 100+ degree temps that they are currently dealing with…not unusual for Phoenix, but I’m sure it doesn’t typically scream “I want to vacation there right now!!” 😉 Well, hopefully this post might change your mind. John and I recently escaped for a quick weekend to one of our FAVORITE destinations the Arizona Biltmore which is the most gorgeous luxury resort in Phoenix if you ask me! I’ve written a previous post about this location and you can find that info here, but here’s a little update for you about our stay in one of the recently renovated casitas….(can you say SO cute?!) and why you might want to consider the gorgeous AZ Biltmore for a summer getaway.

I love luxury…but I also love a deal. Good value is the way to my heart. The Arizona Biltmore is the best of both year round, but especially during the summer months. While scorching temps might not sound like your ideal vacation, let me try and change your mind.
First…where are you going to visit this summer that isn’t 1000 degrees? If you’re headed to places like NYC, DisneyWorld, much of Europe, Texas, you name it…unless you’re going to Alaska, you’re going to be hot. And Phoenix is a dry heat. I’d way rather deal with that than heat AND humidity. Trust me. It does make a difference.
Second…The Arizona Biltmore has some of the most beautiful pools I’ve seen and the best poolside service. Awesome waterslides for the kids and a swanky adults only pool for the grown-ups. Spend the day by the pool with chips and salsa and icy cold drinks.
Third…Nighttime at the Arizona Biltmore is super fun. The sun sets, temperatures drop a bit. Turn on the misters, grab a gelato from the adorable market on the property and enjoy the nightlife at the incredible outdoor bar area.
Fourth…If being outdoors isn’t your thing during the hot days, the Arizona Biltmore is surrounded by awesome shopping and restaurants.
Hit The Henry for an instagram worthy brunch, visit Fashion Square for some serious shopping in the air conditioning, see a movie at the nearby luxury theater…LOTS of great entertainment options everywhere you turn.
Fifth…the Phoenix resorts want to fill their rooms and so they do an excellent job of incentivizing you to come. Reduced room rates, third night free deals, late check out, free valet parking, resort dining credit…so many great deals to be had.
Take advantage of special packages to save a bundle. Check your credit card travel packages through cards like Capital One and American Express or clubs like AAA to see if they have good deals to offer too.
Rooms at the Arizona Biltmore
On this stay we were lucky enough to get a newly renovated casita. It was a fun change from the usual rooms and the renovation is SO good. Check out this darling space…
I love that more amd more hotels are moving towards having luxury vinyl planking floors. It feels so much cleaner and looks so much prettier!
Such a pretty little living room area. The neutrals are gorgeous.
Closet space would be my one complaint in this room. It would have been helpful to have a console with drawers under the tv because there just isn’t really anywhere to put your things…or luggage away.
The steel doors are super cool.
This bathroom!! It’s rare to see such a specialized bathroom with such cool tile/tile work in a hotel!
Those floor tiles are just the cutest!
Love these spacious double vanities.
Yummy smelling soaps and lotions.
The cutest tea sets in each room…they all have a mini fridge too. It’s nice that it’s for your use and not full of expensive snacks and drinks.
I can’t recommend these casitas enough. Not all of them have been newly renovated yet, so if you’re going to stay, make sure that you request one that is.
Dining options on site at the Arizona Biltmore are super yummy. We had breakfast credit and loved that we could choose from a few restaurants on site or grab and go items from the market on property. I really enjoyed just being able to grab a delicious fruit platter to go.
I HIGHLY recommend the Arizona Biltmore. If you are going during the warmer months, make sure that you hit the pool early to grab some chairs. The one thing that I wasn’t too happy about is that they have started selling day passes to the pools. They didn’t have chairs available for us when we went over at 11am to go to the pool. As a hotel guest, I feel strongly that there should be a spot at the pool for me. I am paying to be there and paying a resort fee, so I expect to be able to use the pool. I haven’t had this be a problem on other visits, so hopefully it is something that they will remedy quickly.
I hope you enjoy your stay at the Arizona Biltmore as much as we did! I can’t wait to return!
