How are you feeling after along holiday weekend? Was it restful and wonderful? I hope so. Ours sure was. It’s funny because I was feeling a little sad leading up to Thanksgiving day, thinking about how weird it would be to celebrate without the large family gathering we usually have that draws family from all across the country. As much as I missed seeing everyone, I have to admit that it was really fun for me to cook Thanksgiving dinner…something I haven’t done in several years because we are always traveling. We kept things safe this year and just my brother and his cute, cute family came to spend Thanksgiving with us…it was SO fun! They have lived in Texas for the last decade, so having them so close now is a dream! I also loved sleeping in my own bed, and just generally being home and spending the weekend relaxing with my people. We are always missing Andy of course, but we got to talk to him twice this weekend due to Thanksgiving and some transfer news that he was anxious to share with us, so that was extra special.
We spent the rest of the weekend watching some football, getting the Christmas decor finished up (so I could shoot it for some home tours this week!), shopping, eating more and driving up the coast to enjoy the AMAZING weather we’ve been having.
With things locking down here pretty strictly again, it’s kind of hard to go do much of anything, so we are definitely enjoying leisurely drives and the outdoors even more!
