Black Friday Sales start tonight!!

I am quite giddy about the biggest shopping weekend of the year kicking off TONIGHT!  I’ll be too busy eating orange rolls and pumpkin pie and spending time with loved ones most of today …but, watch out for late tonight…I might have to sneak in a post on the best Black Friday sales and deals as soon as the kiddos are in bed. 😉

I am a bit online shopping fan…mostly because every year we are visiting my family and it’s hard to get to a mall.  There was one year when I did go to the local Target with my aunt and let’s just say I wasn’t willing to wait the more than three hours in line just to get in.  I know, I’m a wimp. 😉  Actually, when I know I can almost always find the exact same deals…sometimes even BETTER Black Friday sales and deals in my pjs at home, I tend to lean towards that form of shopping. 😉 Instead of waiting for hours in the cold, I prefer to watch the minutes tick by on the computer and as soon as the clock strikes midnight…my cart is full. 🙂  I have already gathered some GREAT deals, but I am watching Amazon closely.  They are always tight lipped on exact deals until the big day…so I don’t have specifics from them yet, but I am counting on them matching or even beating every other big box store out there.  It is not uncommon for them to do that, so expectations are high! 🙂

I have put together a list of my favorite Black Friday retailers where you can find most of the popular and best deals, so here you go!  I will update more specific product info as I get it tonight. 🙂

Amazon: Really, I’ll be honest.  I do most of my Black Friday sales shopping here.  They consistently have the best deals on record AND everything is delivered to my doorstep in 2 days with Prime.  If you don’t have a Prime membership, now is the time to get it!  You will get your money back just in the shipping, not to mention the free movies, music, e-books and everything else they offer all year long.  They have had the Black Friday Deal Week deals going on all week, so you an start shopping now.  Don’t forget to bookmark their deals page and check often, also, set timers on your phone to be reminded of when the items you want are up for sale.  They don’t call these things lightening deals for nothing!
Walmart: Stores open Thanksgiving night (our local store is opening at 6pm, but check your store listings) and you can map out what you’ll be shopping for by checking out their Black Friday ad.  Most of these deals should be available online too.

Target: The deals will be good and the lines will be long.  Stores open at 6pm and will remain open until late Friday night…time depends on your particular store location.  You can see their Black Friday ad here and again, plan on most deals being available online too. 🙂

Best Buy: Amazon will most likely be matching all of their prices, so if you don’t want to wait in line, you can shop online, plus you can have it delivered directly to your door in two days with your Prime membership…the best!!).  One note: with TVs and some other electronics, the quality can vary greatly simply depending on the item model number.  Best Buy has already released their exact model numbers that will be available so you know the product will be good.  With Amazon, we’ll have to wait and see which models they offer.

I’ll be back after turkey and stuffing with specific info on deals for everything from electronics to toys…so stay tuned! 🙂

Happy Thanksgiving!
