The Christmas season is SUCH a fun and busy time of year. Something about decking the halls makes us want to gather our friends and family and celebrate with good food, Christmas party games, Christmas cookies and hot cocoa. I always like to get a chance to gather my girlfriends together and do something fun, and so I am always on the hunt for Christmas party ideas. This year, I’m going to put the FUN in function and gather friends to celebrate and be productive. Is it just me, or are you always up late wrapping gifts and addressing your last Christmas cards on December 24th? I can’t count how many times I have made late night runs to the post office to drop off the last batch of cards that I didn’t get in the mail..hoping they will get date stamped December 24th, instead of the dreaded December 26th! Am I the only one that feels like that? 😉 Not this year! We are celebrating with a Girls Night In- a Jingle and Mingle so we can get our merry on. It’s the perfect time to wrap gifts, address cards, chat and eat yummy treats! If weekends and nights are too busy, invite the girls over during school hours on a weekday to maximize your time. I’ve teamed up with Tiny Prints to create a super cute Christmas party ideas with all kinds of fun ideas just in time for the holidays!
The Set Up
I wanted this party to be 100% Christmas, so I went with a color scheme of red, white, green and black. There are so many fun options of cards, papers, invitations, stickers and more at Tiny Prints that are available in these colors, it makes it super easy to create all kinds of fun, custom goodies. Make sure to have a table ready for guests to be making a bit of a merry mess. Provide everything they need to wrap and decorate their gifts…wrapping paper, tags, crinkle paper, stickers, bows, washi tape, boxes, ribbon, scissors, tape…get creative! 🙂
How cute are these custom wrapping papers from Tiny Prints? You can choose the color and personalize each one.
I ordered these papers:
A super fun party favor for this party theme is a cute basket full of fun and unique gift wrapping items like jingle bells, chalkboard tags, glitter clothespins, curly ribbon, glitter stars, chalkboard tags and more. They are useful during the party and fun to take home as well.
Add a yummy custom treat in a cute bag topped with a Tiny Prints custom sticker to each basket to complete each party favor. Society Sweets makes incredible frosted cookies. Delicious and cute…that combination makes any party good! 😉
I ordered my cards from Tiny Prints so I could get in on the fun too. You all know I started out in the paper crafting industry, so the luxe double thick matte paper makes my heart go pitter-patter! Ashley’s favorite is the REAL glittered text. The added texture is such a beautiful touch to the cards!
I ordered the following cards: (I always order multiple cards with different designs…I just think it’s fun to mix it up. There are no rules that all of your cards have to be the same!) 😉
I made my life even easier this year by ordering the envelopes with our return address pre-printed. YES!
I am totally in love with this script paper. The mix of fonts and cute phrases is just too cute.
The Food
Let’s not forget about one of the most important parts of the party! The FOOD! Carry the party theme through to the food table with treats, finger foods and serving pieces that are color coordinated. This doesn’t have to mean investing in new platters. Use some of the cute Tiny Prints wrapping paper to cover existing acrylic trays, use gift boxes to give height and add color to white serving pieces that you already own. It would be darling with wrapped gift boxes on the table for height too.
Aren’t those s’mores adorable? Dark chocolate ganache with the super cute snowflakes…Shana just knows the way to my heart.
This Jingle and Mingle invite is a perfect way to get guests excited for the fun. I love that the colors are a perfect match to this party theme.
Top cupcakes and lollipop sticks with gift bows you can pick up at your local craft store.
These cute wrapped caramels are my downfall. Buttery, sugary melt in your mouth goodness. It is dangerous to know Society Sweets!
I love these custom napkins that carry the theme through. It’s little touches like these that really pull a party together.
Are you all ready to Jingle and Mingle? I hope these Christmas party ideas are inspiring your to invite some friends over and party!
Happy Hosting!
