I was honored to be asked by my sweet friend Courtney of A Thoughtful Place Blog to snap some pictures of her at a beautiful evening at the Kendra Scott store at Fashion Island. Have you ever been to a Kendra Scott store? Although I am familiar with her beautiful jewelry pieces from seeing them at Nordstrom all the time, I had never actually visited her shop. I just have to say wow! What a gorgeous store! The girls that were working there that night were so kind and helpful. They had set up a beautiful display of cupcakes and drinks to welcome Courtney and I to this special evening they had planned just for her.
I am absolutely in love with this spring line. I mean, look at those colors! I couldn’t believe how many of the beautiful pieces I saw were under $100. They would make such a great Mother’s Day gift! Does this look like a candy store or what? Gorgeous! The blue earrings and a set of the pale peach were calling my name. Here are some of my favorites that are all under $100

MY SPRING LINE FAVORITES
I wouldn’t mind if when I opened my jewlery drawer I had a pretty little rainbow of these beauties staring back at me. So pretty and the tassel is so cute! This piece that Courtney tried on was definitely the show stopper for me! I decided at that moment that I NEED a hand bracelet. Yes, it’s a need. 😉
Look at those drawers?! Stunning!
This part of the evening was my favorite. Have you heard of the Kendra Scott Color Bar? It is SO cool! With a touchscreen on the wall you can design a completely custom piece. Choose any style, color and stone and you can watch it be made right before your eyes. If you don’t have a store near you, don’t fret! You can do the same process online and have it shipped right to you. What a fun way to celebrate a special occasion. A birthday, a new job, a graduation…then the jewelry becomes mores more than just a gift, it has a memory of a special time spent with the gift giver connected to it.
The store displays were simply gorgeous. I immediately came home and tried to figure out how to incorporate a few of their design elements into my own house. I just can’t imagine a closet without these gorgeous drawers and pulls now! 😉 Any of these pieces would make SUCH a great gift for mom! Don’t forget, her special day is coming up! Here are some of my favorite pics for mom:

I’m also asking for a Jana bracelet. But I can’t decide if I want the blue or the slate. Which one do you think is a better choice?
It was such a fun night of shooting pictures of beautiful things, chatting with Courtney and shopping. What more could a girl want? Special thanks to Kendra Scott and Courtney for letting me a part of this fun evening.
