Pretty Fall Entryway Decor Ideas

Temperatures are still in the 80s around here, but the last week or so I have seen colors starting to pop up on the mountainside, which can only mean one thing…colder temps are definitely on their way!  Getting the living room decorated for our fall home decor tour last week, got me in the spirit to decorate the rest of the house.  Since the entryway is right next to the living room, and the first place guests see, it made sense to decorate it too.  I’ve been on the hunt for pretty fall entryway decor ideas so I thought I would share what I put together here incase you are looking for some inspiration too.  Here is our fall entryway decor:

Our entryway is fairly large, but the space for putting furniture is actually quite limited.  I needed a table that was taller than a regular end table, and had a larger surface so that it didn’t look dwarfed in the space, but finding something that wasn’t too big or too small proved to be pretty difficult.  I felt a little bit like Goldilocks. 😉  I went back and forth between this table and this one.  I had always envisioned a round table in this little corner, and so I finally settled on this cute table and I am totally in love with it.

I have a serious antique habit and these old olive buckets have been sitting around for awhile waiting for the perfect spot.  I had a bunch of greens left over from making flower arrangements, so I just threw them in the bucket and let them be wild.  I love the way they look.  A white pumpkin makes it look a little bit more fall-ish.  This is one of my favorite tips for fall home decor.  Pretty fall entryway ideas don’t all have to involve expensive things, in fact, using the pretty branches and leaves from your yard to create arrangements around the house is one of the easiest and most inexpensive fall decor tips I can give.  I get more compliments on the wild branches around the house than anything else, always.  See what you can gather up around the neighborhood and bring it home, pop it in a vase and ta-da!  You have inexpensive fall decor that looks beautiful.  Mother Nature sure does a great job of decorating. 😉

This fun round black and wicker tray was an awesome HomeGoods score.  It was an impulse buy because I loved it so much…but I had no idea where I would put it at the time.  Fortunately, it works perfectly here and I love that it works for all seasons.  It made me feel extra good when I was touring a Park City Parade of Homes home a week after I bought it, and they had the same one in one of the decorated homes.  Only theirs still had the original price tag on it…so you know I looked! 😉  Let’s just say those designers paid WAY more than I did! lol! 🙂

This pretty wood container was another HomeGoods find and I love the way it looks with these flowers in it.  It is stacked on a couple of my favorite books to add some extra height.  I love this trick.  I use books ALL the time to create a layered vignette and help add height and interest.  I picked up this bell when I was back home in Orange County, but you can find it here online too.

The stacked artwork are two pieces that I found that work well for all seasons too.  They are subtle and beautiful and great background pieces for whatever I choose to decorate with around them.  This landscape and this pretty anemone print compliment each other nicely.  I have historically been terrible about getting things up on the walls, but I am trying to do a better job in this house.  Command strips are a great way for me to get things up on the walls and still be a commitment phobe. 😉 So, you can see that just a few accessory changes can really be an inexpensive way to bring in some pretty fall entryway decor ideas to your home.

You can shop these things from our house here, just click on any image for more information about the product.

I’m excited to share the inspiration for this entryway throughout the year as the seasons change.
