One Hotel Brooklyn Bridge is a sanctuary in the city. John and I had the chance to stay on a trip to the Better Homes & GardensStyleMaker conference and it did not disappoint! Located waterfront on Brooklyn Bridge Park, 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge sits right beside the East River and five blocks west of the Brooklyn Bridge Promenade. This stunning 10 story building has THE MOST amazing views of the Brooklyn Bridge and Manhattan.

We booked a Bridge King and in true 1 Hotel style, the room was made up of sustainable goods, reclaimed woods, industrial steel, custom organic cotton bedding. It was a pretty room, but the views made it. The most incredible view of the city and the bridge!
A large sliding window opened up to incredible views of the Brooklyn Bridge.
The rooms are on the smaller side, about 300sf, so the giant windows definitely help it feel more spacious.
Bathrooms are well appointed, but tight and completely open to the bedroom. Think of it as a studio with no wall between the bedroom and bath. The shower and the toilet area are along the back wall, next to each other, facing the bed.
The door to the toilet area is a frosted glass, and the shower door is clear glass. So, if you are sharing your room, make sure you like your roommate! 😉 Some people that were there for the conference were sharing rooms with people they had never met before. They knew each other well by the time they left. 😉 lol!
But, alas, I don’t go to NYC to sit in my hotel room, and the common areas at the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge are incredible!!! The lobby is over the top stunning and huge. The hotel has lots of great open space with tables and chairs that make working in the lobby a breeze.
The lobby of the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge has this great farmer’s market like area for you to pick up some fresh fruit on your way out or back up to your room. I loved being able to grab an apple for an afternoon snack!
Talk about a pool with a view!
On a warm summer of fall night, the rooftop deck and bar are the place to be!
I was in town for a conference being held at the hotel, so it was fun to be able to explore Brooklyn and be in a great location to visit all the fun things to see and do in lower Manhattan.
If I had needed to be at meetings in Midtown, it would have been a little bit time consuming taking about 35 minutes on the subway, but for leisure travel or for work meetings in Brooklyn, it was perfect.
Right outside the hotel are great Brooklyn restaurants, fun places to walk and explore, and walking the Brooklyn Bridge over to Manhattan is a must do experience for any NYC tourist.
The subway is also easily accessible, just plan on a 30 minute or so subway ride to get to attractions like Rockefellar Center and Central Park.
I hope you enjoy your stay at the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge and get to explore all of the wonderful things NYC has to offer!
