Check Out the PPD Amazon Store

Happy Friday!  I hope you are looking forward to a fun weekend!  As most of you know, Pink Peppermint Design is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Influencer/Associates program, an influencer/affiliate advertising program designed to provide means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising.  If you aren’t familiar with how affiliate programs work, you can read all about it here.  As an Amazon Affiliate, I recently found out (thanks to some of you guys emailing and asking if I had one! 😉 ) they give me the opportunity to create a store front where we can share products that we recommend or love all in one spot, to make it easy to find them.  

So, as technically challenged as I often am, lol, I finally took the time to sit down and figure it out.  And I LOVE it!  It is so nice to be able to categorize everything for you and create lists by room and item type!  The picture above is what the store front looks like.  It is taking a surprising amount of time to set it up just the way I want it to be (probably because I am not super savvy when it comes to this kind of stuff!) but we’re getting there! 🙂 I will eventually have categories for every room and my favorite products in all kinds of different lists so it is all streamlined, so watch for changes and additions on a regular basis.  🙂 

I want you to understand how affiliate advertising works so that you know exactly what it is and how it helps me keep up the blog.  Basically, when you click on a link from my site to get to a retailer, if you decide to purchase something, that retailer may decide to give me a small commission for the referral…kind of like when you host a home party for a brand like Tupperware, and someone buys something, you may get a credit to spend on an item for yourself.  It doesn’t cost the person buying something at your party anything, it just gives you a little something for sharing your time and home.  The commissions I earn help me to pay for all the necessary costs running the blog..hosting, domain names, file storage, technical support…the boring list goes on and on. 😉

I really appreciate your support by using links that you find here on the blog to purchase things.  I never imagined that this little passion project blog of mine would turn into more than a full time job time wise!  But I love it and I love creating things to share with you.
