The Best Weekend Sales : Egg Hunts and Deal Hunting

This week has been a busy one at our house, and I am feeling more and more like a deadline is looming overhead with the new home project on the horizon.  I know it is going to be a total pain but the reward will be so great!  While the little ones are hunting eggs this weekend, I’ll be doing some hunting of another kind…deal hunting! 😉 There are some great weekend sales happening that you don’t want to miss. I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite things to help kick off the weekend fun.

When I was out shooting some pictures in the backyard this week, I was reminded just how much I enjoy spending time outdoors and how it is so nice to create a real outdoor living area so that you can double your living space when the weather is nice.

We’re headed to our neighborhood Easter egg hunt and breakfast this weekend.  This picture makes me laugh.  Those little faces just trying to be the first to get those eggs in their baskets.  So funny!  It has been a tradition that we started about 13 years ago, when the kids were just tiny.  It’s hard to believe that the oldest of those tiny kids is now 16.  It will be bittersweet to gather with our neighbors for one last block party.  I hope that you have a wonderful Easter weekend and enjoy spending time with family and get a chance to get some shopping in.  Next week is a big one for us…it’s closing time!  I’ll start sharing details of the house and share pictures of the inside and the plans to make it beautiful.
