There are a few rooms in this house that seem like they are taking a long time to pull together, and the dining room is one of them for sure! We rarely use this room…so maybe that’s why. Do you have a formal dining room? Do you use it? We should be better about it, but we’re just not very formal people. 😉 I do love having a dining room though. When we bought this house the living and dining rooms were separated by french doors. I immediately removed the doors and opened up the doorway between the two to make one long, open space. While we may not use them a ton, I do love having a living and dining room right off of the front entry because they always stay clean, so when someone comes over unexpectedly, at least it looks clean. 😉
I love this view from the living room. I’ve said it a million times, but I’ll say it again…all this greenery just makes our homes SO pretty this time of year. I wish we could leave it up all year long!
Our table is no longer sold, but this table is beautiful and very similar! I ordered these chairs to go with the table because I wanted a little contrast. The rug was a great HomeGoods find and I LOVE it!
Simple table setting with Target $1 bin nutcrackers and pretty navy linen napkins. Our everyday white plates and gold flatware.
This little wreath on the back of the chair has been one of my favorite things this Christmas. I just want little wreaths everywhere. 😉
Simple garland and candles on the buffet. I love to pull out these favorite dishes from Thyme in England whenever I get the chance.
A little bit of faux eucalyptus down the middle of the table and we’re all done in here!
