I love SO many types of design. Sometimes it’s hard for me to settle on a particular style…which is why I love my job so much! I love having the chance to create new looks with the same space and try different things. For this year’s Christmas Home Tour I tried something different with the living room. I have this super fun art piece from HomeGoods that I wanted to try and work things around for an inspiration shoot. When I found the teal furry pillows on another trip to HomeGoods I knew it was meant to be. Here’s a sneak peek of what my living room looked like dressed up in a non-traditional Christmas color scheme. I kind of love it and can’t wait to show you more.
Ultimately my family always wants traditional colors and decor, so it’s fun to be able to create something different as inspiration, but I always return to traditional red and green for them. This year here’s a sneak of what that more traditional family room decor with some serious help from HomeGoods looks like…I went heavy on the red…
