Pretty Christmas Kitchen Decor Ideas Home Tour

December is here!! Yay for all things Christmas! Are your decorations up and ready to go? I love it when Thanksgiving falls just a little bit earlier in the month of December rather than on the 29th or something, because I love to have an extra few days after Thanksgiving to prepare for the month of December. Is that silly? I just feel like those few days make a huge difference! I hope that you are ready and excited to see all kinds of pretty Christmas kitchen decor ideas and other decorated spaces today as part of the 11 Magnolia Lane/Evolution of Style 2021 Christmas home tour.

Christmas kitchen decor ideas

I always love these tours during the Christmas season because it is awesome to so many fun decorating styles. Everyone’s homes are always SO pretty during the holidays. If you are joining me from Marty’s Blog, A Stroll Thru Life, welcome!! I am so happy you’re here! The blog just went through a major makeover, so I hope you are finding it beautiful and user friendly…and loving the tour! I chose to share our Christmas kitchen decor this year. The kitchen is truly the heart of the home and I love having it all dressed up. Enjoy!

When we bought this house many years ago, it was the kitchen that sold me on it. It wasn’t the biggest house, but the kitchen is quite large, and I knew that between the kitchen and the attached family room, that is where we would be spending all of our time as a family and this was the perfect spot to do it!

When I remodeled this house last year, I removed a set of really big pantry cupboards and added this little open shelf/counter area here. Best decision ever! We utilize this spot SO much. It’s been really fun to have to decorate too! Here are some of the pieces that I used this year to decorate:

Keeping everything white but adding texture with stone and tile and wood floors, gives the space plenty of character, but also keeps it light and bright…which I LOVE. Amazing natural light is key for me to really love a space. I decided to have some fun with gold accents in this kitchen on the cabinet knobs and pulls and this pretty faucet

This little baking corner gets LOTS of use by @tinybirdbakeshop. That mixer is a workhorse for sure. I like to keep things pretty over here though with some greenery. These faux plants are the ABSOLUTE best.

This little dining nook is a favorite spot in the house. That beaded chandelier is one of my favorite pieces ever, and I can’t get enough of these chairs…which is why I have them in the SLC house too only in blue. 😉

I found these pretty woven oval placemats for the table and paired them with my favorite dishes, some fringed linen napkins and my gold flatware. I added some blue bows that match the wreath bows as napkin rings.

This rug is super thick and I love the fringed edges. I know that eucalyptus isn’t necessarily a traditional Christmas green, but I like to use it year round. I just think it’s so pretty and I love the fullness. I work it in with my cedar garlands and love the look of the two together.

These pendants are some of my favorites I’ve ever used in a project, and they are SO inexpensive. Such a great deal!

Pears are such pretty fruit. I love having them on the counter this time of year to grab for snacks and double as decor. They look extra pretty sitting in a small rustic dough bowl.

A few simple Christmas details on the counters. I love these frames I use them all over the house. The rounded edge is so pretty on them. The natural wood nutcrackers are all over the place this year…and they are too cute!

I love these tiny little feel real wreaths. They are the perfect size for the backs of these barstools. I used the blue fabric bows to tie them on to the backs of these stools.

  1. I can see why the kitchen sold you on the house, Tammy–it’s amazing! You’ve done a wonderful job decorating for Christmas. Totally agree with you about eucalyptus being the perfect year-round green. Thanks for touring with us again and Merry (early) Christmas!
