Creating with Microsoft, Bing and Wayfair for the Alt Dream Studio

You guys!!! The Alt countdown is on and I am SO excited!! Maybe you’ve seen on instagram, but fun little packages from the amazing sponsors have been arriving almost daily over the last week or so. On Monday a package arrived from Microsoft and Wayfair that I was just a little excited about! 😉 In it were fun little trinkets, each one packaged up with care in the cutest ways. Opening each one was like opening a present. Well, it came with a challenge! You know I love a challenge…especially a creative one. A cute card encouraged us to create something amazing with the contents. So, I dove right in. Here’s what I was given…

The monkeys had my wheels turning, thinking about carnivals, petting zoos, and Curious George.  The pom pom trim was just too cute…I knew that the bag needed a little pizazz, so snip snip!  I cut up the bag and added the trim to the sides and bottom.  I glittered one of the little square white tags, cut a heart out of the white tag and glittered it with green glitter I had on hand.  I added a few little scraps of paper I had lying around and a moustache clip to stick with the carnival/circus theme and to create a cute tag for the bag.  I hand stamped the bag with the phrase “please don’t feed the monkeys” like you see at the zoo and then filled the bag with some shred that had come in the original package and some “monkey themed” candies…bananas and such.
