Party Food Ideas: Disney Monster’s Inc. Monster’s University Pretzel Snacks

monsters inc treats

These are such a quick and easy party snack and they are super cute to boot! They would work perfectly for just about any birthday party, Disney Monster’s Inc. Movie Party, or a Halloween party. Make them in any combination of colors to fit your theme.

Disney Monster's Inc

Here’s what you’ll need and the simple instructions to make these:

Pretzels (I just use mini pretzel twists)
candy melts (in whichever colors you want to match your party)
edible candy eyes

Place the pretzels flat on a baking sheet. Top each pretzel with a candy melt. Bake in the oven (heated for 350) for just about 5 minutes…just long enough to barely melt the candy melt and get it soft enough to press an eye gently into the top of it. (keep an eye on them in the oven, you may need less time)
When they have softened sufficiently, pull them out of the oven and place an eye in the center of each one while they are hot. Let cool. Done! 🙂

  1. These are so cute! My son is having a Monsters University party for his 4th bday this sunday! We are making them now and both of us tried it and it’s really good too! I love that he is actually making them and giving it to his friends as a party favor in a cute treat bag. Thank you for sharing your idea!

  2. I am throwing a Monsters University birthday party for my son’s third birthday in May and these are on the menu! I was wondering what kind of candy melts you used?
