Great Gifts for the Baker

As many of you know, my cute Ashley has recently started a little cupcake business, @tinybirdbakeshop on Instagram. She creates beautiful (and insanely delicious) custom cupcakes for birthdays, weddings, and lots of other events, along with specialty boxes that she makes and sells once a month. She loves to create new flavors and spends hours perfecting the look, taste and design of each cupcake. It is truly a passion of hers and it is SO fun to watch her create! I know there are lots of home bakers (myself included!) out there and so many baking tools are fun, pretty gifts too…so I thought I’d create a little guide with great gifts for the baker in your life. Many of the items in this guide are things that we personally own and love, or that are on our own lists. 😉 I hope you find something that is perfect for your home baker.

Pretty kitchen tools make baking and cooking even more fun. These copper measuring cups will bring a smile to your face every time they come out of the cabinet. They are so shiny and pretty!

Gold bakeware?! Yes please! I love that all of these normal everyday items are being made in pretty shades and colors. There’s no reason that useful things can’t be pretty too!

These cookie scoops are a MUST for anyone that likes to bake. I have them in a large and small size for different cookies and I don’t know how I ever lived without them!

Another thing I CANNOT live without? My Kitchen Aid Mixer. Ours is a workhorse and gets SO much use. They are definitely not cheap, but they are a must for any busy baker and will last FOREVER! I love that it’s pretty on the counter too. This gorgeous blue color is an exclusive color and is just gorgeous!

Silpats…have you used them? If not, you don’t know what you’re missing! Nothing will ever stick to your pan again! These magic pan liners make baking SO much easier!

These cake stands are my FAVORITE. I have been obsessed with them ever since I saw this pretty pink one in a little shop in San Francisco nearly 10 years ago. I hunted down the manufacturer and bought two in almost every color they offer. I use them ALL the time and they are just SO gorgeous!

I LOVE these simple, classic white mixing bowls. They are great for baking and serving things all year long.

A pretty french style apron makes the home baker feel much more professional…so does some fun packaging for them to wrap up their goodies for gifting. I ALWAYS have black and white twine on hand. It would make a great stocking stuffer!
