Where has this month gone? I feel like I was just styling this wreath workshop and now it was already three weeks ago! When December 1st rolled around I knew this month was going to go SO fast, but man! Time really does fly sometimes. Marianne is such a talent, I was thrilled when she finally decided to try her hand at a wreath workshop and create something fun and beautiful to share with those that love her work as much as I do. It is always a total thrill to team up with her and Shana (Society Sweets) to put something together. When we collaborated on the Halloween Wedding together a few years ago that was recently featured in Better Homes and Gardens, we were so lucky to have the wonderful team at RJ Imports agree to host our crazy idea. We were thrilled when they let us come back for some holiday wreath workshop fun this year. 😉 It really is my dream location and I wish that I could just move in, but since I can’t live in a warehouse, I’m really happy to at least be able to style fun parties there.
RJ Imports is so gorgeous, I almost feel like I am cheating a little bit when I say I “styled” anything there. When you are surrounded by gorgeous tables, lighting, amazing containers, and then you throw in killer greens, and well…it doesn’t feel like it takes a whole lot to make it look like a million bucks. I pretty much just want my house to look like this all the time. Give me antique buckets full of branches and I’m all set. 😉
Marianne brought in SO much gorgeous greenery and fun stuff for this wreath workshop. There were SO many unique and beautiful elements to add to every wreath. It was so fun to see how even working with similar “ingredients” the wreaths all turned out so differently and were truly a reflection of the creator’s personality and style.
We strung up a few sample wreaths around the venue for inspiration.
Society Sweets worked her magic and created custom desserts for the evening. A delicious lemon cake, S’mores Cupcakes (with individually hand roasted mini marshmallows on top…talk about attention to detail!), and the most adorable tree sugar cookies. She also made incredible caramels for each workshop attendee. Melt in your mouth good.
Marianne adorned the cake with some of the gorgeous greens from the workshop.
See those jars full of greens? Aren’t they beautiful? They lined the workshop and served as both decor and a place for workshop attendees to grab some supplies for their wreaths. It was as easy as filling the jar with water and popping in some greens. Done and gorgeous!
Pretty weathered tables were set up everywhere to allow workshop students to spread out and create.
Marianne kicked things off by showing everyone how to make a wreath. She is so fun and engaging and makes everything seem like it is easy. That made everyone feel more confident as they set out to create their own wreath.
A little savory to balance out all of the sweets. A cheese plate is always such a great idea for any gathering. It looks beautiful, tastes great, only takes minutes to make, and allows guests to serve themselves so you can stay out of the kitchen.
Such a fun and beautiful night! Be on the look out for more fun wreath workshops and other girl’s nights by PoseyPop and sign up early if you want to attend! This wreath workshop sold out in less than a day! Wow! Thanks again to RJ Imports for hosting us!
Have a wonderful day!
