Well, we’ve got a week left. A week to carve pumpkins, attend carnivals, parties, trunk or treats, participate in costume parades, eat tons of junk and trick or treat. Whew! Are you ready? If you’re like me, you always wait to the last minute and rely heavily on Amazon Prime to deliver Halloween to your doorstep in 2 days. 😉 I finally learned my lesson after always shopping early for years, that kids change their minds about a million times during the month of October when trying to decide what they want to be. After years of buying more than one costume because of indecisive kiddos, I now wait until the week before Halloween to order anything. (this post contains affiliate links, you can learn more about what that means here)
Ash and I were hunting last night on Amazon for the most popular Halloween costumes to get some ideas and she finally decided on an emoji. I like it because it didn’t cost a fortune and she can wear half of the costume again as a regular part of her wardrobe. Win for me! 😉 We bought this shirt and this tutu. She’s going to wear it with some black leggings and her converse and she’s done! yay!
So, what are the most popular Halloween costumes this year? If you’re still on the hunt for the perfect costume for your kids, the family, or even the dog, here’s what’s trending…and it can be on your doorstep in 2 days!
Star Wars:

How cute is that SuperGirl dog costume? Adorable. I want a puppy!
These costumes may not be on the most popular list this year, but they are still my favorite:

Do you have any Halloween traditions with your family? We love to carve pumpkins the night before (if we do it any earlier around here they get all mushy in the heat). We have a trunk or treat at church each year with a chili cook-off too, which is super fun for the family. I’m ordering my candy for that on Wednesday so that it will be here on Friday afternoon and then I can take it straight there…no chance for me to eat a bag of it before it makes it to the event that way. 😉 I also love to watch It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown with the kids, and this is the 50th Anniversary of it this year, so we definitely have to do it! This Peanut’s Holiday Collection is a great addition to any DVD collection if you don’t already own it. We also make mummy pizzas every year…so that it on the menu for dinner one day this week. They are so fun and easy…definitely make them with your kids!
I hope you are feeling all prepared for Halloween! I was at last night and everything is practically gone. Dare I say that the Christmas merchandise was already almost all in?! YIKES! I am a huge fan of , so hopefully it can make your life easier by delivering everything to your doorstep in 2 days! Oh, and we ended up cancelling our Netflix subscription a few months ago because the streaming service is so good and there are SO many free shows and movies with your Prime membership it pays for itself!
Happy Halloween shopping! If you are looking for any fun Halloween DIYs or Halloween treats and party ideas, check out all of our Halloween ideas and have some spooktacular fun with your kiddos this week!
