It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of books. You’ve heard me say it a million times here that they are a great way to add color, height, just overall personality to any space. Well, the kitchen is no exception to that rule. If you have countertops, open shelving or other little nooks in your kitchen, then you have a great place to display some of these beautiful books.

When choosing your books, it’s a great time to give visitors a little hint of your personality or interests. Choose titles and subjects that give people an insight into who you are. Here are some of my favorites to use in kitchen design:
The Vintage Tea Party –Combining two of my favorites…entertaining and cooking with beautiful images and the cover is gorgeous as well.
The Chelsea Market Cookbook— I LOVE Chelsea market, so this is a little more personal because it shares my love of NY
The Forest Feast–I’m not a vegetarian, but how can you pass up the colors on this book?
