Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Early Access Sale Picks

One of the best parts about where I live is the Nordstrom right down the street.   But today, we are shopping online!  Actually, I shop online a lot because it’s too easy to shop in my pj’s and then run down the street to pick it up all packaged up nicely for me. 😉  The  Early Access just started minutes ago, and I dove right in to find my faves, because I’m SURE they are going to go quickly.

My first stop?  BAGS!!  They always fit and look cute on anyone. 😉  There are SO many cute bags this season…I may have treated myself to a couple. I know that this sale in particular can be a little bit overwhelming.  Especially with the frenzy surrounding the , I almost feel a little panicky at all of the anticipation.  It’s kind of how I feel when I shop at HomeGoods.  I hear other people finding things on aisles that I just know I am missing out on and it makes me feel like all the good stuff is selling out while I am on another aisle.  lol!  Now I sound like a crazy shopper lady! 🙂  So, in order to avert any panicked shoppers, I have searched through all of the discounted bags for you and picked the best of the bunch.  If you are looking for a great new Nordstrom Handbag on super sale, here are my favorite picks for bags:

I’m starting with !  I love a good cross body bag.  I have back problems and it makes it so much easier to carry…I love the color, too!

is perfect for carrying lots of goodies.  I love the price. It’s only $39.90, but it looks luxurious to me, so I like it even more.  It comes in three great colors, so you can get the one you like the most, or at this price, get all three! 😉

Even living in Southern California, my closet is filled with fall clothing, you would think that I lived in Portland. 😉  Soft sweaters, coats, boots, denim, leather bags…maybe it’s a repressed desire for some real weather.  I would live in a comfy sweater every day if I could.  ALL of my favorite sweaters are Nordstrom sale finds from years past, so I am excited for my new picks to arrive this year.

Does it get any better than Nordstrom shoes…on sale?! were made for walking…and are the comfy way to do it!! Over the knee boots are going to be huge this fall too, but well, I am too lazy to wear them because I feel like they require a lot of work…like constantly tucking things in…and let’s not even talk about putting them on.  Too much work.  Ankle boots look so cute with SO many outfits and they make my life easier..and really, let’s face it, that’s what I am all about.  Comfort and ease.  I am on the taller side, so I always opt for something with the smallest heel possible, but if I was about two inches shorter, I would be sporting this pair, and these super cute ones too.  The block heel is comfy and looks great. .  With the warm weather around here all fall (September and October are the warmest months in OC) these will allow me to transition to my fall wardrobe while still enjoying the warm weather.

How cute are those ?  We are in the middle of a never ending drought, but this may be the year I break down and finally buy a pair.  They of course come in a tall version too, but I’m loving the shorter ones.

If you are in the market for some taller boots, these are my favorite pair.

Flats and the rest of the shoes…a few caught my eye, these flats are cute, but I was mostly focused on boots! 🙂  Although, I did order this cute pair of casual sneaks and a new pair of workout shoes.

Denim!  There is SO much good denim to choose from.  If skinnies are on you list, .  You can’t beat the cut or price of these KUT jeans.  I ordered a couple of new jeans…this one and these.  Here are some that I may be going back for…

Don’t overlook the jewelry on sale!  There are tons of great watches and earrings that are the perfect wear-with-anything style, and this beautiful lariat necklace is going to be incredible layered over all of your fall sweaters.

Well friends, hopefully that gets your shopping off to a great start! I will be placing more orders throughout the sale…I haven’t even looked at men’s and kid’s yet…and I’m mulling over a couple of things, it’s late and my eyes are starting to go buggy, so I’ll have to shop more tomorrow. 😉

I added a Nordstrom Sale page in the header specifically for the sale period to make it easier to find all of my posts.  You can find it up under the “shop” header at he top f the page.  If you don’t already follow me on Instagram (@pink_peppermint_design), come join me there too for more real time sale news!  Many of the sale items can’t be found in-store, so I recommend shopping online…in addition, many of the high-demand items can be ordered online and picked up in-store—one of the major perks of shopping at Nordstrom!  I don’t know about your Nordstrom locations, but recently they added a special service counter at my local store, right in the middle of the store, specifically for Nordstrom online pick-ups and returns.  Don’t forget to sign up for the Nordstromtoo., before you shop!  It’s for all customers and it’s free for everyone.  It works similarly to a credit card rewards program in that it let’s you earn rewards for every $1 you spend at Nordstrom.  Even better?  You get rewards when you shop at HauteLook and Nordstrom Rack too!  Simply sign up with your name, email and mobile number.  There are bonus points days, so be on the look out for those throughout the year too.  For each 2,000 points you earn, you’ll get a $20 Nordstrom Rewards benefits note to spend on ANYTHING.  You also get a $10 rewards certificate just by signing up….just in time to spend at the sale! Woohoo!
