It’s Sunday afternoon and I’m preparing for the week ahead…a fun weekend that went way too fast. Speaking of going to fast, is it crazy that I already feel like summer is winding down? The kids have camps this week, and then we only have two weeks left before orientation and school starting. Summer is TOO short this year! Let’s get this work week started off right with for all you working mamas! My work wardrobe involves a lot of jeans and tops these days as most of my work is here, in front of the computer at home, but for all of you moms that are headed off to work in the morning and you get to dress up, here are some of my favorite finds from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Even if you aren’t heading to the office, these are great dressier, classic staples to have in the closet for church, a work party, a business meeting, a fun night out…it’s always good to have something pretty in your arsenal, and it’s even better when you can get it for a steal! Think of all the occasions you may have to dress up coming this fall, with the holidays and shop with that in mind. Speaking of the holidays, don’t forget that many of these items will make great Christmas gifts, so keep that in mind while you shop! I am astounded at how many different sizes, colors and styles of the items that were originally part of the sale that started just four days ago that are no longer available. Nordstrom has such a great return policy, if there is something you are on the fence about it, buy it now so you don’t miss out on the sale price and then return it if you change your mind.

There are so many cute dresses and skirts this season. Here are a few more of my favorites:
When I am preparing for a work conference or business meeting I gravitate toward more classic pieces and accessories. More muted colors and structured bags and such. Here are some of the pieces that caught my eye…that first black bag from Sole Society is quite large…I was surprised by it’s size when I saw it in person. The shape of it is great and it’s only $39.90 during the sale! Here is a bad iphone picture of the same purse in a great cranberry color:
Aren’t those fun pieces? Mix and match those Nordstrom skirts with some of the tops that we were talking about the other day and you have some great outfits.
If you are looking for more of my sale picks, I added a Nordstrom Sale page in the header specifically for the sale period to make it easier to find all of my posts. You can find it up under the “shop” header at the top of the page. Remember MANY sizes and colors of the sale items are already selling out after only four days, so if you are undecided about an item, purchase it online, think about it while it’s being shipped to you, and if you have changed your mind by the time it arrives, return it then! Nordstrom makes returns SO easy, don’t miss out on a sale price by waiting! Also, don’t forget to sign up for the Nordstrom Rewards Benefits Program too, before you shop. It’s for all customers and it’s free for everyone. It works similarly to a credit card rewards program in that it let’s you earn rewards for every $1 you spend at Nordstrom. Even better? You get rewards when you shop at HauteLook and Nordstrom Rack too! Simply sign up with your name, email and mobile number. There are bonus points days, so be on the look out for those throughout the year too. For each 2,000 points you earn, you’ll get a $20 Nordstrom Rewards benefits note to spend on ANYTHING. You also get a $10 rewards certificate just by signing up….just in time to spend at the sale! I have the Nordstrom Debit card and I was able to make one of my largest sale purchases my personal triple points day, guaranteeing me some serious Nordstrom Notes coming my way to spend! Love that!
Happy shopping!
Tammy
