Free Printable Back to School Tags

I was at Target yesterday and Back to School is definitely on everyone’s mind! The school supplies were all out and I had a hard time passing them by. 😉 I am such a sucker for new boxes of crayons and pencils, erasers, a good pocket chart…all of the fun things for a new classroom at the beginning of the year. As hard as it is to see summer break go, it’s always fun to take the littles to pick out new school clothes and a backpack and get them ready for the upcoming school year. One of the kid’s favorite parts of a new school year is always going to find out who their new teacher is and who the new students in their class will be. I have been making free printables for back to school and cute teacher gifts for years, and this one is a great way to get a good start to the school year giving your new teacher a little something fun on the first day.

I love these “YOU RULE” tags because they not only work for a teacher gift, but they are a fun way to give a little treat to your kids to kick off the beginning of the school year too! I like to pair these cute free printables with either a box of fruit by the foot snacks for a sweet treat, or with some new rulers for a non-food option. Teachers always love new school supplies too, right?

When you print our free printables, or have them printed, be sure to do it on 110lb (or heavier) white cardstock.  I use this for all of my printables when I print them at home. I like to use this paper trimmer for cutting out all of my printables.
