WHAT YOU NEED TO MAKE FLUFFY MARSHMALLOW FRUIT DIP
This 3-ingredient fruit dip could not be any easier! Here’s what you need for this easy dip recipe:
Orange Zest from one orange
7oz Jar of Marshmallow Creme
8oz Block of Cream Cheese
NOTE: With Ash’s lactose issues, we have made this dip with vegan cream cheese instead of regular cream cheese and it seems to work well too if you are trying to make this dip lactose free.
HOW TO MAKE MARSHMALLOW CREAM CHEESE FRUIT DIP
Making this sweet dip just takes a couple minutes, especially if you plan ahead and let your cream cheese come to room temperature an hour before you are ready to make your dip. In a large bowl combine one 8 block of softened cream cheese, one 7oz jar of marshmallow fluff, and the zest from one orange. I use an electric mixer to whip it all together to make sure that all the lumps from the cream cheese are combined well and turn into a light and fluffy fruit dip. If you don’t have a hand mixer a fork will do just fine too. It looks fun topped with mini marshmallows or sprinkles.
WHAT TYPE OF FRUIT TO SERVE WITH YOUR DELICIOUS FRUIT DIP
This dip is good with just about every type of fruit (or by the spoonful by itself!) but my favorite fruits to serve with this dip recipe are pineapple chunks, strawberries, blackberries, and clementine or orange segments. I think that the tang of pineapple, citrus and berries pair well with the sweet creamy dip. If you are short on time, a fruit tray from the grocery store paired with this quick dip recipe is an easy solution.
OTHER THINGS TO SERVE WITH YOUR CREAMY FRUIT DIP
While your favorite fresh fruit would be the obvious choice to serve with this dessert dip, it really is good on just about everything. Add some graham crackers or vanilla wafers in along side your fruit platter for a couple of other options.
HOW TO STORE YOUR CLASSIC MARSHMALLOW FRUIT DIP
I usually make this easy dip recipe right before I want to eat it since the total time to make it is only about 5 minutes, but if you need to make this dip ahead of time (or if you have leftovers, which I highly doubt will happen!) just make sure to store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator. The cream cheese will harden again in the fridge, so just make sure to let it come to room temperature again and stir it up right before you serve it.
This marshmallow fluff fruit dip has been served at most of my family gatherings since I was a child. It is definitely one of my favorite things and I hope that you love it too! Try it for your next party!
