Great Gift Guide for the Whole Family

Do you guys do group gifts in your family? Or how do you do gifts for your nieces, nephews and such? As my extended family grew when I was little we started doing family gifts. A fun idea with a $50 limit that we would gift to each other. We would draw names each year after the gift giving festivities were over so we knew who to plan on giving to the following year.  Sometimes it was a challenge to come up with something fun that everyone would enjoy. I decided that a great gift guide with fun family gifts might be a help for those of you that do something similar or just need some fun gift ideas for people on your list.

great gift guide for the whole family I am always on the hunt for fun ideas that get everyone off their screens and spending time together enjoying conversation and something active or where you have to engage. These fun family gifts are all tried and true things that we own and a few that I think would be fun to own…hint, hint John. 😉 lol! Many of these gift ideas work for individuals too…especially teens.

Are you big gamers in your family? I admittedly am not the biggest gamer…but once I get pulled into a game, I always have a lot of fun. is one of those games that is easy to learn and super fun. Andy and Ashley are HUGE gamers and it’s one of their favorites. It’s compact too which makes it great to take on vacation.

Have you played ? It is SUCH a great game for groups large or small. I love it because people can join in at any point in the game and lots of people can play which makes it extra fun for larger family reunions and get togethers.

We have been to a few Escape Rooms and I think would be tons of fun. If you love solving complex puzzles and riddles…this one would be great for your family.

A few more board games that I recommend for families…

( love this and it’s great for groups…especially if you get this party box)

– I always try to find “family editions” of these games to make sure all the content is family friendly. This one is great and is for up to 10 players!

If you love memes as much as I do, then you NEED this game! lol!

Outdoor Activities:

…have you tried it? When I was a kid it was frisbee golf…but I guess that doesn’t sound cool anymore. 😉 I don’t know about in your area, but it is ALL the rage in our neighborhood right now and in MI where Andy is serving a mission. The Elder’s play practically every week. They LOVE it! Get a few disc sets and everyone can play.

Did you know is like a “competitive, see it played on TV” kind of a sport? Neither did I…but apparently it is and it’s SUPER fun! would be great for an active family.

An outdoorsy family would love one of these super cool portable coolers. Take it camping, to the beach, park or weekend soccer games. It keeps all your goods cool and is easy to carry around.

We LOVE our portable movie projector. It’s bluetooth enabled, has great speakers and it tiny which makes it easy to take anywhere! You can use it indoors or out so it’s super versatile.

Along with our portable projector, we don’t leave home without our portable bluetooth speaker. The sound is amazing and they are so small they are easy to take everywhere and have a party!

A karaoke machine is on my list. We have been to do karaoke a few times and it is a BLAST! Having one at the house would be super fun for so many occasions…or just a slow Friday night. lol!

This family gift idea might be a little out of the box, but our is one of our FAVORITE family activities. We haven’t been as regular lately, but we used to spend just about every Sunday night around the fire together talking about life, our upcoming week and just enjoying each other’s company without any distractions. This would be a unique and memorable gift for sure. Give it with a couple of s’mores pokers and a bag of marshmallows for an even better surprise. 🙂
