GIRL PARTIES: Vintage Sewing Party by Pure Joy Events

Ashley has just recently taken a liking to sewing.  She loves to get out her sewing machine and try out different stitches and create.  When I was trying to figure out what to do for her birthday I found this adorable party by Pure Joy Events and emailed Christine to see if she would let me  share it here with you . 🙂  Take at look at all this darling vintage goodness…

Here are a few of my favorite things from this party:

-spools.  You can find these at your local craft store in the wood crafts department.  They are inexpensive and look SO cute holding the button pops, invitations and food labels

– cute sewing craft for the guests.  I love this idea because they serve not only as the activity at the party, but they were cute décor once they were completed, AND can be used as the take home party favor.  more bang for your buck! 🙂

-simple buttons and twine around the glass jars dress them up and make them look extra special for pennies.

Thanks so much Christine for sharing your creativity with us! 🙂

have a great day!
