Salt Lake City feels a little like a second home to me. I attended college a bit down the road from here, and this was the city I really “grew up” in. I became an adult learning how to navigate life on my own in Utah, had my first baby there, and spent the first few years of my married life there. Right as we were leaving, the Winter Olympics brought the world’s attention to this gorgeous city and it really grew up right before our eyes. There are so many fun things to explore in Salt Lake…so many great neighborhoods, restaurants, shops, sights, all with world class skiing just a 30 minute drive from the airport. It’s a great place for couples, families and singles looking to vacation. Here’s a glimpse of some of my favorites so you will have a place to start when planning a weekend getaway or vacation. As usual, I’ve tried to keep everything fairly centrally located…all within a quick cab or Trax ride, or within walking distance.
