I don’t know about you guys, but when Pitch Perfect 2 came out I couldn’t get to the theater fast enough. I was appalled to learn that my husband hadn’t seen the fist one, so we rented it the night before Pitch Perfect 2 debuted. Well, when I learned that the movie was being released on Blue Ray and DVD Tuesday, I ran to Walmart, because not only do they have the limited edition set, but it comes WITH a CD!!! Oh man! The fun we have been having around these parts with the karaoke machine the last few days!
You all know how I feel about movie nights…between the Teen Beach Movie debut parties, the Nancy Drew Movie nights, the list goes on and on, I HAD to put something fun together to celebrate The Bellas coming home with us! Here’s a peek at the party we had and a couple of quick and easy music themed Pitch Perfect 2 treats you can whip up in no time.
I served the usual movie night treats…popcorn and soda, and then made a couple of SUPER easy themed treats. These mini microphone cupcakes are simply store bought mini ice cream cones and mini chocolate cupcakes stuffed in the top of the cones. Um, does it get any easier than that? Well, maybe. 😉 See that candy keyboard? It’s just white chocolate Kit Kat bars, with (this is the important part) snack sized regular chocolate Kit Kat placed strategically on top. You have to use the snack size so that the bars are smaller and look more like real keys on the piano.
Be sure to head to Walmart to grab the exclusive Pitch Perfect 2 Blu-Ray/Soundtrack combo pack. Soundtrack includes some of your favorite songs from Pitch Perfect and Pitch Perfect 2(while supplies last). Call your girlfriends, borrow a karaoke machine and host your own movie night this weekend!
Happy Entertaining!

Love the pop of color with blue and yellow against black! This is such a fun idea for a pajama party theme!
