Ingredients

  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 3 T. butter
  • 4 oz. semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c. heavy cream
  • 1 t. vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients in small saucepan and bring to a low boil.
  2. Reduce heat to low and cook for 15 minutes, stirring often.
  3. Serve immediately over ice cream.
  4. Can be stored in refrigerator and warmed in microwave.

I like to make a double batch of this sauce and share it with neighbors and friends. It’s delicious over ice cream, and also poured over the top of cake or eaten straight out of a very big spoon. Enjoy!

  1. This would be dangerous in front of me. I remember that when I was a kid, I used to drink chocolate syrup my Mom bought for my chocolate drink. 😀 The case would be the same with this chocolate-y rich ganache! Thanks for sharing! I hope you are having fun at Fiesta Friday party.

Ganache is a decadent crowd pleaser, rich, luscious and special. Perfect for Valentines day. The little hearts you added to your dessert was the perfect addition.
