9 Christmas Albums that Will Make Your Days Merry and Bright

When do you start listening to Christmas music in your house?  Growing up my dad had a strict rule that there was no Christmas music until after Thanksgiving dinner was eaten.  It used to drive me crazy…especially since they started playing Christmas music on the radio in the middle of November!  It obviously wasn’t a very serious rule, but now as an adult I delight in nothing more than calling my dad in October and blasting Christmas music in the background, just so he knows I’m being a rebel. 😉  Nothing makes the holiday season better than Christmas music and LOTS of it. I try to add a few new albums to my collection each year, but I definitely have my favorites.

Here are my FAVORITE 9 Christmas Albums that will make your days merry and bright, guaranteed!  Click on any affiliate image or link to be taken to the album for more information like track lists, etc.

1. Pentatonix That’s Christmas to Me

These guys are AMAZING!! The way their voices blend is incredible, it’s hard to believe that they are singing acapella. I also own and love their second album, A Pentatonix Christmas, so if you want more of this fabulous group, don’t miss that one too!

2. Michael Buble Christmas
Just ask my kids…I LOVE Michael Buble! (or bubbly as he is know in our house 😉 ) My favorite track? #3 Jingle Bells. Such a great arrangement!

3. Diana Krall Christmas Songs
This is another favorite on repeat all through the holiday season. Her voice is like buttah. LOVE this album!

4. Josh Groban Noel
I never would have thought that I would own a Josh Groban album, but I have to say, this one is fantastic. Maybe I should buy some more? 😉

5. The Carpenters Christmas
My dad was a huge Carpenters fan and so I grew up listening to this stuff. Did you? If so, then you’ll know why this Christmas album is a must have in your collection.

6. Glenn Miller In the Christmas Mood

I have misplaced this album, so I’ll be purchasing it again this year (I’ve owned it since pre-itunes days and didn’t have it loaded on the computer…bummer!)  But, if I’m buying it a second time, you know it’s good! 😉

7. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir It’s Christmas

Some Christmas songs just need to have a giant choir singing them and this one is the best!  I get goose bumps just listening to all those voices singing!

8. Bing Crosby Christmas Classics

You have to have some real classics mixed in with the newer music and this is one of the best classic albums in my book.  How can it be Christmas without a little Bing Crosby White Christmas? 😉

And last but not least…

9. Mariah Carey Merry Christmas

It just wouldn’t be Christmas without a little All I want for Christmas is You
