Awhile back we made that cute sprinkle mix , remember? It’s time to bring it back and put it to use…this time a Halloween version! I used pre-made sugar cookie dough at the grocery store which can be a little bit runny. The cookies are a bit thin, but oh man! They taste amazing! If you have your own favorite sugar cookie recipe it would be perfect for these Halloween sugar cookies too.
I used sprinkles in several different sizes that I found all over the place. Whenever I am out and see sprinkles that I think are a good deal, I grab them. I know that I will eventually use them, so I just pick them up and add them to my stash. For this mix you HAVE to have the eyeballs. They have them at Target and Walmart and they are adorable. They just add the perfect spooky touch to these adorable cookies.
Put your sprinkles in a bowl and then roll the dough into ping pong sized balls. You want to make sure to coat the entire cookie in sprinkles. The cookies will spread out and so will the sprinkles, if you want, you can add a few sprinkles in the middle of baking, but I don’t think you need to.
Place them on a cookie sheet and bake according to your regular baking directions.
I think these would be a great treat to Boo your neighbors with. They are super cute and taste amazing.
I just grabbed a mix of orange, white, black and gray , , and a combination of both and , and of course the sugar eyeballs. I liked the mix of colors with just black, white, gray and orange, but it would cute to do a Frankenstein themed mix too with bright green, purple, black and white. The possibilities are endless!
