This Chick-fil-A Market Salad recipe might just be Ashley’s favorite salad of all time. So many menu items at fast food restaurants are just not the healthiest, but I love that with Chick-fil-A I can drive through a fast food chain restaurant and find something that is full of fresh ingredients. If you are looking for a great lunch or dinner salad that you can make at home, check out this easy Chick-fil-A Market salad recipe. It’s the easiest meal prep-it only takes minutes to make and you can be eating it in no-time.
MARKET SALAD INGREDIENTS
The best part of this salad is that it is such a simple recipe with a limited number of ingredients and barely any cooking involved. As a matter of fact, if you would like, you can even buy pre-cooked and seasoned chicken breasts to make this salad even easier to make. Here are the ingredients you need to make this awesome salad.
– A mix of romaine lettuce and other greens. Chick-fil-A uses mostly romaine in their market salad, but feel free to add in any other lettuces you like…baby spinach, iceberg, green cabbage…these are all great additions to make a nice fresh bed for your salad.
– Sliced grilled boneless chicken breast
– Chopped Red and Green Apples
– Crumbled Blue Cheese
– Sliced strawberries
– Blueberries
– Harvest Nut Granola (I use
– Roasted Almonds
– Zest Apple Cider Vinaigrette Dressing
Ashley is lactose intolerant, so she likes to make this salad without the blue cheese. This simple change is a great way to make this salad easy to eat for those with dairy allergies.
You can buy the actual Chick fil A salad dressing at the grocery store (often in the produce aisle,) but I like to whip up a homemade apple cider vinaigrette because it only takes a minute to throw together and shake up in a mason jar.
HOW TO MAKE THE CHICK-FIL-A MARKET SALAD RECIPE
– Wash and dry your fresh fruit and lettuce.
– Slice your strawberries and chop the apples into small, bite-sized chunks.
– Grill your chicken breasts.
I’m a little lazy and don’t always grill my chicken breast. Often times I’ll just use my grill pan (or any pan for that matter) on the stove. I simply season the chicken breast with salt and black pepper on both sides and cook through. I will often prep a few pieces of the chicken at the beginning of the week so that I can use it throughout the week on different salads and in other meals. Simply store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator. I like it best on this salad if it’s cold anyway! 😉
This flavorful salad recipe makes the perfect compliment to all of your summer menus! It is always a hit when I take it to a gathering. It can serve as an entire meal or if you want to skip the chicken it can be a great side salad for another well balanced meal.
I get asked all the time about these bowls. They are my favorite! Here are a few pretty bowls, salad plates and serve ware that I am loving right now too if you are looking for a beautiful new serving bowl or something fun for entertaining.
