The OC Ranch Reno is finally starting to come together and I am SO excited to get the last of the furniture here and get it all decorated! You all know how much I love the beach and especially a modern coastal design, so this house is no exception…especially since it’s just minutes from the beach. I don’t know why, but I always love designing twin bedrooms so much. There is something so fun about two twin beds all decked out in a room. This room of Andy’s already lends itself to beach themed bedroom decor with the rough hewn ceiling and cute light, so it’s easy to continue in that direction. I want a bedroom that is sophisticated, but fun. Somewhere that he can bring a couple of college roommates and feel comfortable staying for awhile. Here’s a peek at how it’s coming together and the design plan…

are SO cute and affordable. They go in and out of stock, but always return to the site fairly quickly.
is a perfect fit in between the two beds. a perfect spot for a couple of cute task lamps and a drawer for each person.
You know I can’t live without some pretty pillows and this combination is perfect. I love the texture and shape of the french grain sack lumbar and the triangles on this square pillow look a lot like shark teeth to me, which I think is a cute nod to the beach. I will be using a 26″ square and a 12×20 lumbar for sizing reference.
I found this great picture for above the chest. I love the color it adds to the room.
I bought this rug for in between the beds and it is so cute and soft!
Comfy, layered beds are important to me. I love texture and warmth. These white quilts, paired with these soft gray duvet covers and then a great textured beachy feeling throw are the perfect layers.
One of these cute little rattan ottoman/stools is going at the foot of each bed.
