29 Cute Christmas Room Decor Ideas – Holiday Home Tour

It’s time for The Evolution of Style and 11 Magnolia Lane Holiday Home Tour! I am so excited to participate in this tour…it gave me the chance to decorate a couple of spaces that sometimes get overlooked.  I always like to add a few things to our bedroom, but I don’t always get around to sharing it. This year I specifically signed up to share this space so I wouldn’t forget! 😉 I hope you’ve been able to see all of the pretty rooms all week, but if not, be sure to check them all out. I have them linked at the bottom of this post.  You’ll definitely want to start with Heather’s room next…she always does such a cute job. Here are our master bedroom Christmas room decor ideas. I hope you like this room as much as I do!

Both of these bedrooms are making their blog debut and I’m so excited to finally get to share them after the remodel. We have been working on this house for the last year, the pandemic really made things a lot more difficult to get completed, so it feels really good to have this place back to looking like a house! I have a long way to go in the decor department, but we’re getting there! Slowly but surely! 😉

I wanted this whole house to have a beachy vibe, and celebrate the fact that we are right on the coast, so I picked design elements and accessories that have more of a relaxed modern coastal feel.  John works from home when we’re here, so a desk was definitely a necessary addition. The master made the most sense because it has great light, had plenty of space to add one, and is tucked away from any other noise or commotion that might be going on when everyone is home. This pretty black and cane desk tied in the black bed and natural wood on the nightstands perfectly.

I found these cool lamps at HomeGoods and this adorable little replica of a favorite local landmark in one of my favorite local home decor shops. Some fresh cypress sprigs make everything look like Christmas.

We put white oak Shaw wood floors in throughout the house. I had dark handscraped floors prior to the leak we had, and since we had to re-do everything, I decided to lighten things up. I love these floors! I love the little fringe edge on this duvet cover. It adds the perfect amount of texture to the linen duvet. I found this GREAT faux palm on Amazon and love it in the corner. I popped it in this basket to cover the small green pot it comes in.

It’s always so amazing to me that adding some greenery to a room can transform it so much. Garlands and cedar sprigs are easy to find this time of year, so add a few to your spaces to really liven them up and make them look instantly Christmassy! Grab a few pillows in reds and greens and you’ll have a room that looks like it’s been made over in a flash. Want to find something you see in our room? You can shop it here.
